My qualifications, training and research

I’m a registered member of BACP and have a Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling from the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling.  As a member of BACP, I adhere to their Ethical Framework which can be found here http://www.bacp.co.uk/ethical_framework/ , and follow their regulations about clinical supervision and continuing professional development.

I also have a degree in psychology and am a graduate member of the British Psychological Society.  I’m currently in the final year of a professional doctorate in counselling psychology at the University of the West of England.  This training covers a range of different talking therapies, including:

  • relational psychodynamic psychotherapy,
  • systemic psychotherapy, and
  • cognitive behavioural therapy.

My research
